A medical ID is a wearable accessory or ID card that contains or allows access to the user's critical personal and medical information. Individuals with medical conditions, food and drug allergies, or those taking medications should wear one. First responders and medical personnel are trained to look for these IDs when encountering patients who are unable to respond. Providing this information can prevent misdiagnosis, unwanted drug reactions, and treatments that could impose serious risk.
At tag4life, we shine a powerful light on medically vulnerable people who, for whatever reason, can't speak for themselves. We do this by helping to cover the cost of their medical IDs - no questions asked. We are happy to accept donations in any amount and, through our "Codes4Care" program, a gift of as little as $100 will allow us to provide ten medical ID cards, with our focus on leveling the playing field for members of underprivileged and disadvantaged communities. Check out our Codes4Care page for more details.

Light is a symbol of life, happiness, prosperity, and, in a wider sense, of perfect being. It is immortality - without light, there would be no life. Light is wisdom, divinity, hope, good, and truth, which shows how central it is to our everyday life. At tag4life, we shine a powerful light on medically vulnerable people who, for whatever reason, can't speak for themselves. We do this by helping to cover the cost of their medical IDs - no questions asked.
"Fundamentally, I did not understand the real necessity for such a device until there were discussions within my transplant support group. The importance of having my medical information readily available (from the point of view of a first-responder or within the ER) was not emphasized nearly enough during the pre- or post-transplant educational process."
